Downtown Daytona Beach Events/Al Smith Productions, in partnership with the Riverfront Arts District, is excited to announce that the 4th Annual Daytona Beach Arts Fest is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday, April 13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Presented and sponsored by Brown & Brown, this two-day spring event supports the Riverfront Arts District and serves as the grand finale of the Arts VoCo Season of the Arts. It promises an array of activities for everyone, including fun experiences, immersive art, original live music, delicious food, and more!
The Daytona Beach Arts Fest is free and open to the public.
Free Parking is available behind the shops on Beach Street.
Long-time Daytona Beach event promoter Al Smith of Al Smith Productions/Downtown Daytona Beach Events and Theresa Lieberman of the Riverfront Arts District are co-producing the event. Both have expressed excitement about returning this unique two-day art and immersive experience to Downtown Daytona Beach.
Beach Street will be closed to traffic from Orange Avenue to Bay Street to accommodate the Artisan Marketplace, offering visitors the chance to enjoy over 150 juried and non-juried arts and crafts exhibits. The Artisan Marketplace will showcase the talents of artists and craftsmen, from emerging to seasoned local artisans and craftworkers. Fifty fine art juried contenders will compete for the Best of Show award and $4,000 in prize money. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 PM at the North Block Stage. Please visit the Daytona Beach Arts Fest website for information on the festival and artist applications. Daytona Beach Arts Fest is truly an immersive art experience, as participants can vote for their favorite juried artist, who will win a cash prize. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorites!
Throughout the Daytona Beach Arts Fest weekend, both artists and attendees can enjoy live music provided by The Local Mix, a Street Art Showdown chalk art competition, a kids’ zone hosted by Arthaus, a Visual Arts Student Art Exhibit from Volusia County Schools, a Sunset Concert featuring a tribute to Tom Petty by the popular band Are Friends Electric, along with special guests Beartoe, Dyer Davis and Dan Walters, food trucks, a food court at Beach Street and Magnolia Avenue, beverage centers, the Riverfront Shops, restaurants, galleries, and new this year: The Book End by Novel Tea Book Shop — a lively, family-friendly book fair at the Daytona Beach Arts Festival! Enjoy book signings and live readings, and meet local authors. Browse new titles, used books from Abraxas Books, and literary merchandise. Sip hot or iced teas in a cozy lounge for readers of all ages.
